What's in your candle?
Leveiza candles are made with a plant-based wax blend of soy, coconut, and apricot, chosen for a clean, even burn and beautiful fragrance diffusion. Our candles are paraffin-free and use fragrance oils that follow International Fragrance Association (IFRA) safety standards. The fragrances are phthalate-free, paraben-free, and free from CMR substances (carcinogens, mutagens, and reproductive toxins). Each candle features a natural cotton wick and thoughtfully sourced materials.
Does the wax have a scent on its own?
Our plant-based wax blend has a very light natural scent. Once fragrance oils are added, the wax remains neutral and allows the fragrance to shine.
How do I take care of my candles?
First burn matters. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures the candle burns properly over time.
Trim the wick. Before each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps maintain a steady flame and reduces soot.
Burn in intervals. Burn your candle for 2 to 4 hours at a time so the wax pool can form evenly.
Place on a stable surface. Always burn candles on a heat-safe, level surface away from drafts.
Keep the wax clean. Avoid letting debris such as wick trimmings fall into the melted wax.
How long will my candle last?
Burn time varies depending on the candle size and how it is used. Trimming the wick before each burn and allowing the wax to melt evenly across the surface will help extend the life of the candle.
How well will the candle scent my space?
Leveiza candles are designed to create a balanced fragrance that gently fills the room without overwhelming it. Scent strength may vary depending on room size, airflow, and burn time.
For larger spaces, burning more than one candle may help distribute fragrance more evenly.
Why is my candle flame too high or producing soot?
A flame that is too large usually means the wick needs trimming. Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn to maintain a steady flame and reduce soot.
Why is my candle tunneling or burning unevenly?
Tunneling occurs when the wax does not melt evenly across the surface. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to reach the edges of the vessel, especially during the first burn.
Why does my candle sometimes look uneven or frosted?
Plant-based wax can naturally develop slight variations in texture as it cools. This is normal and does not affect the performance of the candle.
Are your candles cruelty-free?
Yes. The materials used in our candles are cruelty-free and not tested on animals. We work with suppliers who follow the same standards.
Are the materials you use recyclable?
Many of the materials used in Leveiza candles are recyclable or reusable. Our candles are poured in glass vessels that can be reused or recycled, and the paper tube packaging is recyclable. We aim to choose materials thoughtfully and encourage reuse whenever possible.
Before recycling the vessel, remove any remaining wax and the wick tab.
What's the best way to store my candles when I'm not using them?
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keeping the candle in its paper tube packaging helps protect the wax and preserve the fragrance.
Are your candles safe?
Our candles are made with carefully selected materials and are designed to meet recognized candle safety standards, including ASTM F2417 guidelines. For safe use, burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, keep them away from drafts and flammable objects, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
Orders & Custom Orders
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. During busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer.
Do you offer custom candles for events?
Yes. We offer custom candle orders for occasions such as birthdays, engagements, weddings, and other gatherings. Custom orders typically require 2 to 4 weeks of preparation, depending on quantity and design.
How can I place a custom order?
Please email orders@leveiza.com with your event details, preferred scent, quantity, and timeline.
Can I modify or cancel my order after it's placed?
If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, we may be able to make changes. Please contact orders@leveiza.com as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be modified or canceled.
What happens if my order includes both ready-to-ship and custom items?
Orders containing custom items will ship once all items in the order are ready.
Can I include a gift message with my order?
Yes. You may include a gift message at checkout, and we will include it with your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
At this time, we do not offer gift wrapping. Our candles arrive in protective paper tube packaging, making them ready to gift.
Do you offer discount codes?
Occasionally, we offer promotions or discount codes. If you have one, you may enter it at checkout. Only one code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
Why isn’t my discount code working?
Please check that the code has been entered correctly and that it has not expired. Some promotions may have specific conditions or exclusions.
Can I apply a discount code after placing my order?
Discount codes must be applied during checkout and cannot be added after an order has been placed.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Digital gift cards are available and can be sent directly to the recipient by email.
Gift cards do not expire and can be used toward any purchase on our website.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically arrives within 5 to 7 business days after shipment. Expedited shipping usually arrives within 2 to 3 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within the United States only.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
What happens if my package is delayed?
Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier. Delays may occur due to weather or other circumstances outside our control.
What if my package arrives damaged?
Please contact returns@leveiza.com within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the product and packaging.
What if my package is lost in transit?
Please contact orders@leveiza.com so we can assist in initiating a carrier investigation.
What happens during warm weather shipping?
During warmer months, we may pause shipping on Thursdays and Fridays to prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend and being exposed to excessive heat.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Do you accept returns?
Unused and unburned candles may be returned within 14 days of purchase in their original packaging. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for full details.
Can I return a candle if I do not like the scent?
Because fragrance is a personal experience, we are unable to accept returns based solely on scent preference once a candle has been used.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact returns@leveiza.com within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the product and packaging.
How long does it take to receive a refund?
Once a return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
